1. Please give a brief description of your business and services provided.
The Lady Between the Lines Los Angeles Art Foundation hopes to create common ground through the arts and embrace LA’s diverse cultures and international communities. At LBLLA, we believe that art, like music, has no boundaries and it can be an effective tool to unite artists of all races, ages and religions. Our goal is to enrich, inspire and uplift the community with our social events such as, music series, poetry recitals.
2. How did you get started?
Lady Between the Lines was first established in the 1990. But, closed after it’s original founder passed away. In the 2012, we began to reestablish and reach out to a wider and more diverse audience.
3. Why is Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, and the Arts District community important to you?
Downtown is the heart of the city! The art district and Little Tokyo reflects the life, culture and diversity of Los Angeles.
4. As an entrepreneur / business owner, what advice can you give for success to our entrepreneurs?
Have passion, faith and work extremely hard!
5. Name one thing interesting / quirky about you and/or your business.
We’re all slightly nuts. But, you’ll like us anyway. ;)
