1. Please give a brief description of your business and services provided.
Adaptive Realty is a boutique real estate brokerage based out of Silverlake. As an agent, I help investors locate, buy, renovate, manage, and sell apartment buildings in Los Angeles. By applying a rigorously quantitative approach to valuing under-managed properties in improving areas, I'm able to help my clients minimize risk while maximizing upside on every project.
2. How did you get started?
It all started with a conversation I had with my current broker after reading his blog http://kagansblog.com. He inspired me to get my license and start brokering apartment deals. That's exactly what I did and I absolutely love it!
3. Why is Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, and the Arts District community important to you?
Downtown Los Angeles is on fire right now. There is so much creativity and dynamism in this part of town that one can't help but get sucked into the vortex!
4. As an entrepreneur / business owner, what advice can you give for success to our entrepreneurs?
Be passionate about what you do. Hustle your butt off. Treat your clients like gold. Don't let money change your work ethic.
5. Name one thing interesting / quirky about you and/or your business.
I played bass full time for a living before getting into the real estate game.
